How do I enter a military address, or a post office box?

Military addresses were designed in order to allow mail to be delivered to overseas locations at domestic rates. Instead of a city and state, these addresses use APO (Army Post Office) or FPO (Fleet Post Office), along with "AE" (mail going to Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and portions of Canada), "AP" (the Pacific) and "AA" (for the Americas and portions of Canada). Therefore, the bottom line of overseas military addresses is: APO or FPO; followed by AE, AP, or AA; and then the ZIP Code.

Example:
Enter any numeric value in the "Street #:" field
Enter any non numeric street or building name in the "Street:" field
Enter "APO" in the "City" field
Enter "AE" (Europe), "AA" (Central and South America), or "AP" (Pacific) in the "State" field
Enter the ZIP code in the "ZIP" field

Post Office Box
Addresses containing a Post Office Box or Route number are quite simple.

Enter any numeric POB or RR value in the "POB #:" field.
DO NOT ENTER a value in the "Street:" field Enter the City Name in the "City" field
Enter the State name in the "State" field
Enter the ZIP code in the "ZIP" field

Is the information that we enter protected?

There are two answers to this question.

1. When you are connected to PSI Internet Services through an active internet connection all communications are encrypted. In the event a "hacker" or person with malicious intent tries to view the information that you are sending us they would view a seemingly random and undecipherable stream of characters.

2. After you have submitted your request all information is kept secure and protected through various hardware and software security solutions. Only authorized personnel of PSI Internet Services have access to databases and related hardware. Credit files are purged from our system as soon as they reach 30 days from the original request. This means that you would be unable to view a previous credit request in your search history if that request is more than 30 days old. Information submitted by you is not sold or distributed to any other company or third party.

How do I adjust my screen resolution to be at the optimized level of 1024x768? (Windows users only)

PSI Internet Services's website has been optimized to be viewed at a screen resolution of 1024x768. Although, all screen resolutions work, 1024x768 eliminates a lot of the unwanted scrolling required by most websites. To modify your screen resolutions to 1024x768 simply do the following:

Close all programs to view just your desktop. Once all the programs are closed move your mouse arrow to the center of the screen. Next, right click on your mouse. Then select properties, which is located at the bottom of the pop up menu. This will bring up the display properties menu. Single click on "settings", which is located on the right side of the display properties menu. In the lower right hand side there will be a box entitled "screen area". To adjust your screen resolution simply position the arrow until it reads 1024 by 768 pixels. Finally, click on "apply".

I clicked submit and then realized I misspelled the applicants name. Do I get charged for both the incorrect and the correct report?

Yes, you do get charged for both requests. Even simple changes such as the spelling of the applicant's first name, last name or SSN will warrant a separate transaction. Each transaction generates a separate search, and each search will generate a separate report. All clients are billed according to the number of reports they have requested. Therefore, the input accuracy is your responsibility; make sure you double-check the accuracy on all entries.

How can I create a shortcut to PSI Internet Services?

A shortcut is an icon placed either on your Desktop or in your "Favorites" list which will start a program or open your Internet browser to a predefined location. To accomplish this simply do the following:

No. No invoice is mailed to you. All web account invoices are emailed to the person responsible for payment. An email is generated once a month to this person. You can view or print your entire invoice from this location.
